Tokenized stocks

What are tokenized stocks?

Tokenized stocks use blockchain tokens to represent stock-related interests or exposure.

A tokenized stock is a blockchain-based token associated with an equity investment. The legal structure can differ between issuers: some tokens represent securities directly, while others provide an interest in or exposure to an underlying security.

A familiar company name or ticker does not, by itself, tell you what you own. Read the issuer’s terms for the specific token, including its backing, redemption arrangements, transfer restrictions, and any shareholder rights.
